An American Thanksgiving

The boys love going to Grandma and the Colonel's. They have power wheels, a tractor (John Deere lawn mower), play ground and trampoline; they also get to see their cousin, Beckett; and get a little spoiled by their grandparents. For Mio & Daddy, we get more hands to help, a few nights out and the relaxation that comes along with being in a home that isn't your own and in which you have little responsibilities. Who wouldn't like it there?

Here are some highlights from our visit.

Making cookies with Grandma.
One day we visited the Calvert Marine Museum.

Another day we saw Santa. Then created a stuffed animal in Build-a-Bear.

Then it was the Air Museum

Outside Fun

Fishing from the Colonel's trailer

Our first Thanksgiving back in America since moving to England.

Once Thanksgiving was over, it was time to prepare for Christmas.

Our trip was cut just a few days short by a freak blizzard heading straight for our path back home. Thankfully we avoided the worst of it by leaving early. Never the less, it was a great trip.
