Museum: Canada Aviation & Space

The libraries here have this awesome program- you can check out local museum passes for free. The first day I went to the local library and got a card the librarian knew we'd just moved here and offered one to us. Apparently these are difficult to come by as I haven't been able to snag another one since.
This pass got us into the Aviation & Space Museum. It's a great little museum close to our house. They have a ton of planes to check out, some old men working on their models, cock-pits you can sit in and little planes to ride on (which the boys could have done the entire time).

This was a great little museum. I think we may come here quite often this winter to ride some planes.

Our Park

One of the biggest selling points for us with our house was the park right across the street. There is a soccer field, basketball/tennis courts and a play ground, jungle gym, swings and sand. We are there pretty much every afternoon. And since we live in the 'mature' side of the neighborhood, the boys pretty much have free reign of the place. Even Chewy gets in on the fun. He is often off leash and gets to play fetch in the field and chase squirrels. It seems this is also a "doodle" neighborhood. Pretty much every dog we've encountered is some sort of doodle so Chewy fits right in.

Here are a few photos of our time so far in Birdland Park.

There's been a big time gap in this collection of ours. Life at home with 3 littles in the middle of a pandemic will do that I guess. T...
